The selection at Secret Weapon Miniatures is constantly growing. They are known for and specialize in products for miniature enthusiasts. From washes and pigments to conversion parts and a impressive array of resin scenic bases.

Our primary interest here at Senji Studios is wargaming terrain and Secret Weapon Miniatures has started to produce a line of scenic elements which caught our eye.

Gothic Tank Traps

The Gothic Tank Traps are beautiful and aesthetically fit right into the Warhammer 40k universe. They come in packs of 10 and are cast in resin. Each tank trap measures 1″X1″.

The tanks traps look like they are made from concrete and have stylized arches on them. The base is a band of riveted metal. There are also lift rings attached to each face of the tank trap. These could also be used as decorative capitals on futuristic gothic columns.

These tank traps are perfect for our miniature games or for diorama use. Rules for them can be found in the Warhammer 40K 6th edition rule book.

Below are painted examples of the tank traps.

Gothic Power Generator

The generator is the latest terrain piece by Secret Weapon Miniatures. This is a 10 piece set and contains resin and acrylic pieces. This piece mmeasures 2.25″X2.25″X3.5″.

The architectural design of this piece fits right into the 41st milenium. The designer made sure all of the right details were incorporated into this piece. It has buttress style support coluumns, gothic windows housing machinery, and the sharp pointed capitals.

The generator is easy to assemble. First start by cutting off any casting plugs and flash from the pieces.

Then glue the support columns to the base. At the bottom of each column is a small triangle plug. This fits into triangle hole at the bottom of the base.

Now you should paint the generator before final assembly. Once painted, glue the acrylic rods and the top of the generator into place.

The generator will make a great objective or can represent something from the Battlefield terrain section of the Warhammer 40k 6th edition rule book.

Below are painted examples of the Gothc Power Generator.

Both of the kits are well designed and are very affordable. I recommend picking these up to add more flavor to your games. I hope Secret Weapon miniatures continues to produce more terrain, they are already off to a fantastic start.
